the type of launch you should have is….
A Pilot Launch
A Pilot Launch (also known as a Beta launch) is a great starting point, and this is how you get your first list.
Pilot (dictionary definition):
serving as an experimental or trial undertaking prior to full-scale operation or use.
A Pilot Launch is exactly what the definition says. It helps you validate your idea or product and ensures that you give your audience what they want. It’s also how you validate a new product.
Even though the Pilot Launch is seen as a beginner launch, It’s one you can come to each time you want to create a new product.
(Keep reading, I’ll show you why a Pilot Launch would be perfect for you)
Here’s why a Pilot Launch will be perfect for you:
- You are just starting out with no list (or a small list).
- You don’t have a product or you have a new product that has not yet been validated.
- You want to get paid to create your first product.
- You have an idea for a product but aren’t sure it’s something the market wants or will pay for.
- You’re just getting started online and want to make sure your offer will convert.
Now let’s look at the pros and cons?
THE PROS
- Ease of execution! ⇐ this is a huge because so many people don’t create or launch their products simply because they feel it’s super complicated and tech heavy.
- You get to validate your product as it’s being created because you get direct input and feedback from your audience.
- It serves as a strong starting point to building your list and you get to build on that firm foundation in later launches.
- You learn how to present and teach your material. You are therefore building your confidence and this will serve you well for future launches.
- Because this launch is usually small, you can capitalise on this by adding small, meaningful personal touches that help you deliver a ‘WOW’ experience that will have your clients singing your praises and spreading the word.
THE CONS
- Because typically the products are priced lower since you are building as you go along, it can sometimes feel like a lot of effort for a smaller return. But you get to raise your prices in subsequent launches.
A Pilot Launch is the ultimate stepping stone
to long-term business success!
Here’s the really cool thing about having a Pilot Launch — it’s a foundational piece of what could very well be a profitable, purposeful, and life-changing online business.
The Pilot Launch is ideal for two scenarios…
First, your Pilot Launch gets you started with building your audience. It’s how you create, test and validate your product. This is great if you are just starting out and you don’t have a list (or you have a very small list) and/or you don’t have a product.
The Pilot Launch is ideal in this scenario because it helps you build your first email list and engagement with your audience. It also creates your product for you and helps you get valuable feedback from your audience as you create your product or service. In fact, you’ll actually sell your product before you even create it. I know that sounds crazy, but it’s worked time after time.
The second scenario is if you already have a business… but you would like to create a second or additional offer for a new product. In that case, the Pilot Launch is the easiest way to create a new product, and make a bunch of sales before you put in the work of creating the product.
Your Pilot Launch
Blueprint
First things first, get clear on who your product is for -
who is your ideal customer?
- Start building your email list.
- Send your subscribers an email where you make an offer to teach a class of some sort, a webinar or a series of webinars.
- You pick a main topic and divide it into maybe 3 or 4 subtopics and you do a presentation on each one.
- Before each presentation, you would do a quick survey with your attendees to find out what they need to know about that subtopic and then teach that.
- You would record everything and this is how you get your first product or validate a new one.
Let’s be friends!
Hey there, nice to meet you!
I’m Peju - Launch Strategist and Process Queen.
I help ambitious online entrepreneurs like you, simplify their launch process so that they can optimise their launches for maximum impact and repeatable results in their business.
In case you hadn’t already guessed, Launches are my thing! And don’t you worry, I’m going to give you my best tips on how to get started.
In fact, I have to tell you that by taking this quiz and signing up to my list, we have just become business besties (if you gave me your email – I send lots of goodies to my besties).
It also means that you have already taken a major step in your launch journey even if part of you is freaked out right now at the idea of launching.
I want you to know that you’ve got this and I’ve got your back!
Do you remember why you
started your business?
In my corporate career, I had worked in Investment Banking and currently working in business process optmisation and project management for a Fortune 500, FTSE 100 financial services company.
And while I really enjoyed my work, I knew I wanted to work for myself, and I thought if only I could do this for myself in my own online business. I didn’t think this was possible until I started to explore the online world and discovered that it was indeed possible to transition my corporate career into my own online business.
The more I learnt, the more I realised that helping online entrepreneurs launch their products is the one thing I felt passionate about and that I could fully commit to.
And so I invested thousands of pounds and learned all about launches from the best of the best online marketing experts.
However more often than not, the narrative around launches is that they can be stressful, complicated, or chaotic.
I knew that I could help change the narrative around launches which is that they are stressful, complicated and time consuming.
Simplifying complicated, complex processes and guiding project managers on how to manage super complex, global projects and programs is what I do everyday in my corporate career.
My career and business path comes as no surprise as my Myers-Briggs personality type (INTJ) has the characteristics of someone who can easily take complex principles and techniques and change them into clear and actionable strategies. Someone who is innovative and looks for new tactics or strategies to produce the most elegant solutions to problems.
So taking all that I’ve learned about launching digital products and services online, and adding my innate character traits plus my experience from my corporate career on managing multi million pound projects and simplifying complicated processes, I have come up with my own launch process.
My business exists to show you how to experience no-fluff launches that are super-chilled, fun, simple but successful.
- If you’ve been trying to guess your way into launch success
- Or, maybe you’ve believed the hype that your launch has to have all the fluff to be successful but you have nothing but caffeine fuelled, stressful launches from trying to do 'all the things’ to show for your efforts
- Maybe you don’t even know where to start
Then let me tell you that….
There is a process and formula to everything and knowing the right formula to apply to your launches is the key to having successful launches.
I DON’T want you to experience super stressful, energy sucking and time consuming launches while on full hustle mode like most entrepreneurs do.
You deserve to experience bold, successful and chilled launches so that you can get back to your ‘why’!
Don’t worry, I’m here to cheer you on.
