Is it easy to action and implement?

Achieving your goal is ALL about taking ACTION and IMPLEMENTING! Having a great plan makes taking ACTION and IMPLEMENTING straightforward. It eliminates confusion and overwhelm. You know exactly what to do and when.

Is it easy to track progress?

With a great plan, you know exactly where you are at all times and you can make decisions based on where you  are and make recalculations as necessary.

Does it provide accountability?

There is no hiding place with a good plan. Every task has an owner and every owner is accountable for the delivery of that task. There is something to be said about ownership. When you own a task, you are more likely to make sure it is delivered. Task owners know every detail about their tasks, if something goes wrong they know and are proactive in finding a solution.

Is it easy to identify and plug any gaps?

By first identifying the products or deliverables required before the tasks, activities, dependencies and resources required to deliver those products or deliverables, you cover all the bases and don’t miss anything!

Five.

Is it comprehensive and does it cover all the bases?

A comprehensive plan covers all the bases. It really gets you thinking of why you are doing what you are doing. What it is that you are doing. How it is going to be done. Who is going to be doing what and when? How much will it cost in terms of time, money and resources? What if this or that happens, then what? Should we continue, pivot or stop all together? Are we on the right track? How close are we to achieving our goal?
